The Best Dad Award goes to....

Clint & Avery spent the afternoon making a very cool igloo complete with chairs, a table and two snowmen. I delivered chicken noodle soup on a princess tray for lunch.

Inspired by Italy

This was a wet felted project I worked on with the help of my daughter. Italy is one of my most favorite places, and I always loved the colorful quirky looking homes in Cinque Terre, the Amalfi Coast and especially my most favorite of all, Burano (a short boat ride from Venice). I loved working on this! We embellished the doors with little "keys", added a firefly and sun in the sky, and Avery raided the button bin for the windows.

Felted Soaps

Here are some of the felted soaps I have made - too fun! The ladybugs, hearts and flowers were needle felted afterwards. The stripes were wet felted with the soap.

Finished Felting Project

Finished this felted picture just in time for Christmas! It was a gift for my brother & sister-in-law. I tried to copy the picture on their wedding invitation (from their wedding in June). I hung it on a tree branch. Hope they loved it!
